The world is full of people who are looking for someone to spend their time with and at times it can be hard to find someone new to just hangout with. If you're in a big city, sometimes there's too many people. On the contrary, if you're in a small town there's often too few people. If you're just interested in something casual with no strings attached sometimes you have to take the first step and just go for it. Meeting new people with similar interests has been a popular trend online for a while and growing daily with so many more people joining the global community in recent years.

Go on vacation: Taking a vacation can serve so many purposes. Going somewhere new, meeting new people and embracing new culture. Amazing things happen when you leave home and begin to explore this huge globe we all live on. Who knows who you might meet in your travels.
Meeting someone online: This is almost a no brainer but meeting people online is about the most convenient and time saving ways to go. No travel is involved, you have the whole world at your fingertips and all you have to do is say "hello" to someone. The good thing is, you're in control and you set the tone on how you want any encounter to go.
